A pair of antique, 19th Century tartan ware glove stretchers/finger stretchers.
Made in Scotland in the mid to late 19th century of lacquered wood.
Both are with the “Stuart” tartan pattern.
The small glove (finger) stretcher is approx. 14.5 cm (5.5″) long and is in good working order.
The large glove stretcher is approx.20.5 cm(8″) long. The spring mechanism does not function properly, therefore it is only suitable for display purposes
All in all a lovely addition to your collection of antique mauchline ware or tartan ware.
