Soft, cozy and undyed gloves made from 100% yak wool.
The gloves are available in two colors. Both colors are natural colors. My yak wool is undyed and therefore skin and environmentally friendly.
My products are made in Mongolia. Since the Mongolian yak live in the mountainous regions, they have to cope with extreme weather conditions between 30°C to -50°C. Yak wool is therefore heat-storing, temperature-regulating and breathable. The bovids, weighing up to 500 kg, impress with their massive bodies and calm and social disposition. About 300g of hair can be combed out of a yak and processed into yak yarn per year. In addition, yak wool is a natural product that can be obtained in an environmentally friendly manner and is 100% ecological.
Traditional herd husbandry in Mongolia does not require stable housing. The nomadic life is based on the herd animals and their welfare. After the winter, the wool of the animals is combed out by the individual shepherds and transported to the looms for further processing.
