These gloves are the reason I started this site. For too long I have seen gloves being marketed to the bushcraft community that were heavy work gloves being rebranded or remarketed as a camp glove. I’ve often seen people with bulky work gloves, that they paid way to much for trying to handle sharp objects like knives, axes, hatchets, ulus, draw knives… etc.
I am proud to bring the community it’s first actual bushcraft glove. This was designed by me, brought to life by my wife’s expert skill in glove making. A glove designed by a woodsman for the the woodsman.
The glove is made from premium top grain leather. Backs are deerskin for a durable and stretch fit you will only get from north American white tail deer. the palm and thumb is made of premium top grain goat skin for its absolute toughness and puncture resistance. I’ve added a deerskin palm patch that is thick enough to offer protection and thin enough not to impede on perfect dexterity.
They are hand waxed and oiled by me, using my proprietary leather conditioner. Doing this by hand allows me to also make sure that these are the finest quality glove i can offer to fellow bushcrafters. The wax finish will give a beautiful patina over time. If dexterity is a concern these are perfect. Tie knots, handle that axe or hatchet, even pull the blade out on your favorite folding knife while wearing these. Touchscreen responsiveness isn’t bad either. These gloves were meticulously designed for tasks that require protection and high levels of hand dexterity.
