This is my trial pair of a new pattern I have developed.
There are a few minor design flaws – a couple of stitches here and there are the wrong way round, but the construction and the major decorative features are solid.
They are handknit machine-free on double ended needles in the round, and the provenance of the wool can be traced back to the spinners.
The normal price of these gauntlets will be £36 (3x the price of the yarn). The price is lower because it seems a shame to do so.
Especially if someone could do with saving some money on a relatively valid piece of kit into the bargain.
I am happy to ship anywhere for £3.
They are a bit fluffy, so if you are planning to wear them for an extended period, I would suggest some thin cotton or linen undergloves (my next project 😎) so they don’t itch.
They will, however, protect your lower arms and hands from chafing by bracers or armour hand gear and they are wonderfully soft and cosy.
