The original mittens are from Estonian National Museum. They are originated from Paistu (part of Mulgimaa in Viljandi county, Estonia).
I love the cuff of these mittens. It looks like a beautiful red lace, adds a bit royal touch to this pair of mittens. As knitted with 3 colours – red, white and dark blue, these mittens are very warm.
You can wear them as they are and you can wear them on top of other mittens or gloves underneath.
This pair is definitely in my favourite knit-list.
