The sweaters I repurpose are generally 100% wool of every color, texture, and style. I transform the wool knits into a superior fabric by putting them through a vigorous felting process. Not too many crafters put in the time and effort it takes to assure a consistent dense quality felt. The truth of the matter is… wool that is not felted completely will develop holes from wear.My mittens last much longer!Plus….a loose-knit felt is not nearly as warm.My mittens keep the cold out and the warm in!

All of my mittens are made of 4-5 different colored, textured, and printed fabrics…sometimes more.I love to stagger the colors from right to left…top to bottom, inside… outside… upside…downside!The right and left mittens are almost always unique from each other but matching in color and style.All mittens are lined with color-coordinated soft anti-pill fleece and adorned with one-of-a-kind accents.
